Welcome to FOCAL
FOCAL is an innovative program designed to help students develop self-confidence and motivate them to succeed academically. The learning center opened in the fall of 2000 to incorporate educational activities with the recreational activities offered at the City of Miami's Moore Park. The program is free of charge to students and operates year-round as an after school program and summer camp.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide Educational, Vocational, and Social Services to individuals and families of predominately low income communities. Special emphasis is placed on youth to ensure that each child has an opportunity to reach a level of independence and normalization in order to become a productive citizen.
